IFRD 2024 Celebration

433 Simcoe Street South Oshawa, ON L1H 4J5
May 4, 2024
Ladies Get Your Engines Ready!!!

Join us from 1pm to 6pm at Harley Gs’ in Oshawa for one of the most celebrated days for women who ride not only here in Ontario where IFRD was first originated in 2007. Since then, it has grown substantially with women participating globally in over 120 countries.

IFRD Founder Vicki Gray from Motoress Magazine has put her everything into creating this specific day for women to get out there, ride and participate in the events being held not only in their communities as well as those being hosted globally each year. This day is about women meeting other women with the same passion and uniting us together as one.

There are more women riding in Ontario today than our male counterparts and we owe a lot of this change to Vicki Gray and her undying passion for the movement. Vicki’s motto “to make change you have to be the change”.

Thank you Vicki for all your hard work!!

There are so many women to ride with and places for you to stop and celebrate with, so please save the date and this location as one of them,  hosted by the Throttle Knockers WRC, Riders Group, Morrigans Cross WMC and Dollz By Dezign and with thanks to  Harley Gs’ in Oshawa for allowing us to use his location to celebrate. Daily we are working as one to create an amazing event for women to stop and socialize with other like-minded women who ride.

Stop in and have a bite to eat from Gus’s Grill 2 Go, with other food options being added. Do a little shopping from inside Harley Gs’ where he is offering in store discounts, flash tattoos and 1/2 price piercings amongst as well numerous other vendors onsite geared toward what we as women love and want. There will be draws, contests, games, a photo booth, a bake sale or if you would like to. Participate in our donate or swap your used motorcycle gear or jeans, with an option for others who are just starting to get out their and ride to purchase these items at a lower cost, with all proceeds going to our local women’s shelter with more details to be announced and followed up soon. We would also like to thank DJ Terry Soulierre from Visually Sound Entertainment for donating his services for us ladies to get our groove on at the event.

We have Donna Macguire from  setting up a ride coming out of Baileboro (Peterborough area) to attend our event, thanks Donna, and we are welcoming other road captains from other areas to contact us so that we can announce your ride and help those interested get in contact with you so please inbox us anytime. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for how you can get your official 2024 IFRD t shirt or the newly designed patches and for those wishing to collect the option for a bottom rocker year logo to add on to each year you attend. Links will follow in the coming weeks for direct purchase and pick up on site from  IFRD Official Merchandise Shop .
