Biker VS Chick
So I’m a Biker…and a Chick. Does that make me a Biker Chick? Can I be both? I feel like there are days when you can only be one or the other. It’s almost like men can accept you as a Biker but you aren’t looked at as a Chick in that case and if they see you as a Chick then they don’t respect what you do on 2 wheels.
So let’s see….
I ride a sport bike…ahhhh look at her she’s so cute. (Chick)
Bitch I put MILES on that sport bike that some cruiser riders can’t keep up with. (Biker)
I take my bike in to get the oil changed, chain oiled and all that done. I just don’t have time to do all of that. (Chick)
I’ve left more fingernails in my plastics than you can count and can do the work myself if it needs to be done. (Biker)
I do my hair and make-up before I head out to an event. (Chick)
Fuck it; I throw my hair in a pony-tail after sweating off my make-up in a helmet. (Biker)
Yes I try to match my t-shits to the rest of my girls when we go out riding. (Chick)
Most of my t-shirts and jeans end up covered in bugs and road mess by the time I get where I’m going anyway. (Biker)
I am helpful, I give to charity, I take part in community events, I give big hugs, I cry. (Chick)
I am helpful, I give to charity, I take part in community events, I give big hugs, I cry. (Biker)
But why do I have to be one or the other? Why can’t I be a Biker that doesn’t change my own oil, or a Chick that can show up without being fully made up? A Biker that looks cute on her bike or a Chick that gets her hands dirty wrenching her bike?
How about this – I AM A BIKER CHICK. You can respect me on 2’s or not, you can think I’m cute or not. I DON’T GIVE A FUCK!
